Australia is the 52nd most populated country in the world. Its population is concentrated mainly in urban areas and is expected to exceed 28 million by 2030. With 89% of their population being urbanized they have managed to add up faster and faster due to more immigrants and other people wanting to live there. Australia's sex ratio at birth is 1.06 for both male and females. Under 15 years of age 1.05, ages 15-64 1.03, and ages 65+ being 0.84. The total fertility rate in Australia is 1.969 children born/woman as of 2008.
